Made, printed and packed by hand

The Shock Shop is a one-person operation — I design, print and pack every coaster, plate and key ring myself, in small batches, from home.

The designs come from wherever an idea catches — 3D-modelled helmets built from scratch, close-up shots of genuine Anglo-Saxon jewellery, real NASA and Hubble photography, even the odd item drawn purely because I wanted it to exist. If it looks like nothing else on the shelf at a gift shop, it's probably one of mine.

Coasters are cork-backed hardboard, heat resistant enough for an actual cup of tea. Metal prints are dye-sublimated onto brushed aluminium — the ink is baked into the surface, not sitting on top of it, so it won't scratch off or fade sitting near a window. Everything gets boxed and posted by hand, usually within a couple of days of the order coming in.

Nothing here is mass-produced. Runs are small, some designs are genuinely one-offs, and if you want a size or finish that isn't listed, it costs nothing to ask.
