Football Statues 2027 calendar

Football Statues 2027 wall calendar Football supporters these days tend to be somewhat tribal when it comes to following football. They seem to be only interested in their own club’s concerns. Way back some years when I was a young lad we had what was called Charles Buchan’s Yearly Annual. This book embraced all UK football news, pictures of stars and events from different clubs throughout the land. Of course we were most fond of our local team but we always had a fascination for star players not just from England but also from around the world. This ‘Football Statues’ calendar is aimed at the supporters that just simply love their football. Each monthly page boasts interesting stats, facts and snippets relating to that particular statue. A publication that reflects football culture and history. Not just past record-breaking players but immortal famous managers. Who would know where the great, albeit tragic figure of Duncan Edwards resides? Also starring the odd ancient chairman that once laid the foundation for the modern game. The calendar concludes with the depiction of the most poignant football match of all time: A scene from Flanders during the First World War. ‘All together now’ is the piece of art that brings two figures about to shake hands in no man’s land, capturing the historical moment when British and German soldiers stopped fighting and played football on Christmas day, 1914.
